Hannah Mjølsnes (b. 1987) is an artist based in Trondheim, Norway.
She earned an MFA from California Institute of the Arts (2015) and a BFA from Oslo National Acedemy of the Arts (2012).
Her practice is concerned with exploring ways of creating awareness to human relationships with minerals and plants, and
her works are invitations to contemplate their affect on us, both historically, in the present and our potential future.
She creates immersive installations using video projections where these entities are animated, invading our human perceptive sense of
space and time and reshaping the surronding environment or architecture. She does performative storytelling and serving
of tea made from medicinal plants as part of the three person artist collective Nine Herbs Charm.
